Safe Zone Workshop Request Form

Safe Zone is a symbol of the University of California, Irvine's commitment to diversity and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community on campus. Open to any campus affiliate, the program will train individuals to identify as Allies that are informed, supportive, and affirming of our LGBT communities at UCI. Safe Zone will create a more welcoming campus climate for LGBT and Ally faculty, staff, and students. Sponsored by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center, the program will foster a community that can network and embrace sexual and gender identities.

The LGBT Resource Center has scheduled Safe Zone workshops each quarter. Please check these dates before requesting a seperate workshop.

If your club, orginization, or office would like to request a Safe Zone Allies Training, we ask for a minimum of 10 participants to ensure better dialogue during the program. Although we prefer workshops during the 9am-5pm day, if available, our staff will conduct workshops outside of the business day.
