What Does It Mean to Be Gay?
How to Talk with Kids about Sexual Orientation and Prejudice.
Gay Family Support
If you are a parent that has just found out your son or daughter is gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender and are now feeling shocked, unsure, isolated or many of the other emotions we parents feel when we first discover our childs sexual orientation or gender identity, (that is different to ours) then this site will be invaluable to you.
Out Proud: For Parent's of Gay Children--Can We Understand?
Every family is different and every case individual: one parent may find out by chance, another may be told face-to-face, a third may receive a phone call or a letter; the child may be a teenager or an adult, self-accepting or upset with what he or she is; parents may be ready to listen, or react by drawing back. For all, however, there are some underlying concerns and questions that are highlighted here.
GSA Network
The Gay-Straight Alliance Network is a youth leadership organization that connects school-based Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) to each other and community resources.
Gay Teen Resources
Gay teen resources is dedicated to the simple principle that LGBT youth should have a place they could go to online without worrying about being hit on, being outted to family or friends, or where they could find help and links to resources that could offer additional assistance.
The Gay Youth Corner
We aim to produce a credible and high-quality web site for young people. We believe that this involves publishing a range of interesting and useful content whilst providing dynamic and interactive services to our members. We know that sexuality is an all-involving part of someone's life. Many youths grow up in environments, at school or at home, where the term "gay" is derogative. This can damage a person's confidence at a crucial time and this issue can manifest into larger problems during adult life.
Mogenic
Mogenic is a special place on the net where gay and lesbian youth have the freedom to exchange ideas, share experiences, discuss coming out, make friends, read interesting content and most importantly: make contact.
National Youth Advocacy Coalition
The National Youth Advocacy Coalition (NYAC) is the only national organization focused solely on improving the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth through advocacy, education, and information.
